Local women artists from the Lehigh Valley were gathered together to make the above tiles. The tiles were glazed and then, re-glazed to achieve the rich color. Glazing can be tricky.

With most of my time dedicated to helping the other woman, I had very little time to make my own two tiles; here is one that I came up with.

About eleven woman artist participated in the project. For many of them, this was their first experience with clay.
